::About the Band:: The beginning of Applying Pressure huh? Well, in I think about the end of 7th or the start of 8th grade Kyle and I ( I being Brad who wrote this here thingy ) were first learning to play the guitar, we had always said that in a couple of years we would be in a band and we would rock for the rest of our lives.. Now although that didn't sound too realistic at the time cause we both sucked on the guitar, and I couldn't sing as well as I can now.. haha anywayz, time went on and we got very good at our instruments, and we eventually became very close friends with a guy by the name of Mike. He kinda scared us at first, and still kinda does, but, were used to it now... and it just so happened he played the drums, thus 3/4 of the bandmates were together. So finally we all started jamming together and thought, hey, maybe there's something to this band thing, so, we decided on becoming a band, the name was a really dumb one called No Conspiracy , and we didn't like it, until one day in math class kyle came up with Applying Pressure, haha, so, there we are now, a band devoted to just having fun and making music. As for our styles, they very alike, except for Kyle, haha... Mike and I both took lessons on our instruments so we can play a nice selection of music from things like punk, to rock, to heavy metal stuff, to jazz. Kyle's all modern and self taught, so, he's lead, haha, so I guess were an all around rock band, not to "poppy, punky, screamy, or being boring" just good ol' rock. Ok, I'm sure you are tired of reading this by now, so I'll let you do something with your life then just sitting at a computer reading about a band that nobody's heard of. SiD ::Bios:: |
